Founded by Ali Bennett in 2023, Grassroots Giving is dedicated to supporting Black business professionals and fostering connections between Black-owned businesses and the surrounding community.

Grassroots Giving remains steadfast in its commitment to nurturing strong connections and fostering inclusivity within the Greater Lansing Area.

Mission:

At Grassroots Giving, our mission is to empower and uplift Black business professionals by providing a dynamic platform that connects them with the essential resources needed for professional success. We are dedicated to fostering a thriving ecosystem where Black business professionals flourish. Through strategic partnerships, community engagement, and resourceful networking, we aim to create an inclusive space that catalyzes economic growth, celebrates diversity, and champions the resilience of Black business professionals in the Greater Lansing Region.

Our vision is for Grassroots Giving to be the cornerstone of a thriving community. We aim to create a vibrant network where Black business professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders, connect through collaborative opportunities, mentorship, and shared success. 

 

Our vision extends beyond the directory itself, reaching into a transformed business environment where diversity is celebrated, barriers are dismantled, and every Black business professional is equipped to achieve their highest aspirations. Lansing's Black Business Directory is the catalyst for a more inclusive, equitable, and prosperous future for all.
